to all that were involved in the May Day Fair. It was a wonderful day, filled with the sound of fun. There were so many comments about how friendly our Church is and what a great time everyone had. We raised over £2000, (poor Stuart is still working out the final total).

Communitea – will be on 7th May at 4.30pm. Benediction will follow at 6pm.

Rosary – we meet this Thursday 11th May at 7.30 pm. All are welcome to join us. If there is someone or something that you would like included in our prayers please pass the details on to Anne, Peter or Kate.

Holiday Club - We are investigating the possibility of running some sort of holiday club/workshop in the summer holidays. If you would be interested in helping in any capacity please speak to the Church Wardens. There will be a meeting arranged to decide the feasibility and details in a few weeks.

Ascension Day – there will be a Mass at 7.30pm taken by Fr Bruce.

Day trip to Canterbury Cathedral - On Saturday 24th June 2017 I am running a coach trip to Canterbury. The price includes return travel by coach and a tour of the Cathedral. I am also trying to organize a mass for those that want to attend. You will have time to stroll round the historic town and enjoy lunch or shop whichever takes your pleasure. We are limited to 49 seats and expect this to fill up quickly so will work on a first come first served basis. The coach will pick up at St Margaret’s, at 09.10 leaving at 09.20. A non-refundable deposit of £10.00 will be required with the outstanding balance being paid no later than 3rd June. The total price of the trip is £30.00. There will be a list at the back of the church for you to add your names to if you wish to join us.

Walsingham candles – Don Fraser and some members of St. James are walking to Walsingham at the beginning of June. They will be taking six days to do this and the rest of the pilgrimage party will be joining them at the Slipper Chapel on the Friday afternoon. Many Churches have kindly offered accommodation for them throughout the week. There are some candles available to help raise funds for their Pilgrimage, costing £5 each available from Don.

One Stop Coffee Shop – every Tuesday during Term times. 8.30 to 10.30. Please pop in and bring your friends.

If you are interested in being confirmed please talk to one of the Church Wardens. Bishop Norman is very happy for us to arrange a Confirmation Service later in the year if there is enough interest.

Church Cleaning – will be on Saturday 13th May 9.30 – 11.30 am. Please do try and join us. Many hands make light work. Refreshments will be provided.
